At least with streaming video, we don't have to write letters to customer service about replacing the disc or returning it. We just try again with a better internet connection.

That being said, I still think 4k physical media has far better video quality than the fastest 4k streaming service today.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've only had one disc, including DVDs, HD DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K UHDs, that wouldn't play after being cleaned. And even that one (an HD DVD), decided to work a few days after I replaced it with a Blu-ray.

Given how much they've been promoting the 4K restorations of Three Colors, I could see a 4K release announced.

The key to November is setting expectations low. I'm looking forward to new beach towels, colorful t-shirts, and canvas bags.

After the false hype of the "Kubrick UHD box" announcement a few years ago I learned my lesson. What was believed to be a box of UHD movies ended up being a box of t-shirts.
