Do you use PayPal Credit? I know it lets you set that as your default choice when using certain sites.

Does Criterion still put the color bars/calibration thing on their discs? What's the most recent release that might have it?

I traumatized my boyfriend by showing him The Baby of Mâcon. He was literally shaking afterwards and made me swear not to show him something like that again. Frankly, Peter Greenaway would've 100% respected this response.

So I don’t know if anyone’s posted about this yet, but a new restoration of Days of Heaven is on the roster for this year’s New York Film Festival, and it’s credited to Paramount and Criterion. If accurate, 4k incoming?

I wanted to use Pay-In-4 for this but I was never even directed to the Paypal site - it just went all the way through to Order Completed I don't think that's ever happened before.
When you are ready to check out, open your cart. Then instead of clicking continue to checkout, click the tiny PayPal checkout button. Then it will let you use the pay in 4 method.

That's exactly what I did, fully expecting to be taken to Paypal. Didn't happen.

Do you have a link? I read it was going to be at the Venice Film Festival, but couldn't find info on it being at the NYFF.

Argh - I don’t know why I misread it, but yeah. it’s Venice, not NYFF. Here’s the link, anyway. My main curiosity is if Paramount is starting to give titles back to Criterion? With the Don’t Look Now 4k and now this being a possible future, seems like their approach has changed.

You could've retired that one twelve years ago.

Oh, that is quite strange then! I did an order about four days ago that way and didn’t have any issue.

Tod Browning's Sideshow Shockers - Freaks / The Unknown / The Mystic (Criterion) is now the #1 Best Seller in Horror on Amazon.

Would be nice if this somehow got Criterion to get the, alleged, two remaining 30's WB titles they have licensed, Roaring Twenties and Captain Blood, out before the next July sale. I doubt it though.

Or the two remaining Lewton titles, since classic horror is a proven seller.
