Wow, hell yeah for All of Us Strangers. Given its owner I wasn't sure that would ever happen, and even if it did, I never assumed it'd be so soon. Definitely will pick that up.

And I've enjoyed the Gregg Araki films I've seen but haven't caught those ones specifically, so I'll need to watch em on the Channel soon...

Holy crap! Happiness in 4k? One of my all time favorites. Could my prayers be answered and we get a 4k of Gummo?

I never post in here but wanted to share my enthusiasm for the Gregg Araki trilogy! A complete dream release. Absolutely made my day! In the running for release of the year. Also excited for Happiness, even though I’ve never seen it.

Yes please I think we're definitely getting the Straight Story finally. As a result, it would open the floodgates for new to Blu-Ray Touchstone, and Hollywood Pictures Titles. Like Dead Presidents, The Ref, The Program, Quiz Show, Alive, and others

Criterion will have a flash 24 hour 50% sale sometime in October so you could pick it up then

In for the Haigh only - what a film!

(Maybe the Solondz too down the road.)

All of Us Strangers is a must-own. It's my favorite film from last year. A beautiful masterpiece that will be right at home in the Criterion Collection.

Excellent reminder, although I may not make it that far if Amazon has a pre-order @ 30% off.

Might be the best month ever.
The Apocalypse Trilogy was already enough to make me scream in excitement but then Happiness too? The film that has been stuck on a non-anamorphic Dvd and never even had any digital VODs available in HD.... now coming in 4K from Criterion?
I keep looking at the "Coming Soon" Page in awe... damn.

Seeing Happiness covers done by fans for several years and then Criterion actually announcing the UHD is a fever dream. Nothing for me personally but this really is a strong month

I may get 4 of the 5!! (Probably won't upgrade Repo Man.)

I've come close to importing the Happiness DVD many times; glad I waited. (This guy wanted to take me to Meet Joe Black on a first date, but I chose Happiness. Come on, man -- sappy romance or Todd Solondz?! In all fairness, I did like Joe Black when I saw it later.) Happy to be able to see this again.

Happiness and Young Adult are two of the greatest movies of the past 30 years to talk about depression.

Perhaps Criterion still access to license certain Fox titles. Disney has not asked Criterion to relinquish any of the titles they licensed from Fox. I cannot think of any titles gone out of print. Whereas all the Fox titles licensed to Kino and Shout have goine OOP or soon will be. Just a thought.

Happiness finally available not just on a standard HD blu-ray but in 4K?

All Of Us Strangers being rescued from a digital-only release by Disney/Fox and even presented in 4K within less than a year?

I hope this isn't a one-off like WALL-E that Haigh had to personally arrange with Criterion, given that they released his films before but instead an open gate to the other Searchlight films that need 4K releases like Nomadland, A Hidden Life and Poor Things!

All of Us Strangers instantly made its way into my Top 100 of all time last year, and I was devastated when it seemed that it wouldn't get a physical release. With the UK release and now this, I am absolutely over the moon about this! This alone tops the July lineup for me!

Here's hoping this isn't the end of Disney owned films in the Criterion!

Well, slap my ass and call me Sally! This is an incredible month full of vibrant movies. I love seeing the 80s and 90s releases here, especially Happiness and the Greg Araki Teen Apocalypse Trilogy. Holy f#%*! I'm loving the legendary crime flick as well (The Long Good Friday) and an upgrade of Repo Man too! Finally, All of Us Strangers looks like an interesting story, capping off a thrilling slate of September releases!

Of course I did LOL. This new set is really just appeasing my obsession with NOWHERE. I enjoy the other 2 flicks but Nowhere is in my personal top 20 films of all time.
