I feel like when the 15th is a Friday they wait until Monday but I would like to be wrong!

Anything like that is circumstantial or anecdotal, not a steadfast rule.

It IS interesting how I remember when I first got into Criterion more seriously (like 2010 or so), for years the announcements would be late late in the day, like 5/5:30pm. Anything earlier was kind of surprising. Nowadays, if by 1pm there's no word yet there is anxiety expressed.

The last four announcement emails I have received were between 12:07 and 12:16 Eastern time. The emails for the two previous months came in before noon. It's now after 1:00, so it doesn't look promising.

It’ll be crushing cause its NOV announcements and they can usually be rather good since its also B&N 50% off month.

Usually we get a couple big titles.

Waiting till Monday is going to be excruciating.

In Jon Mulvaney's email to me on Tuesday, he said more information about Eclipse 47 would be shared in the "next week or so." I guess he wasn't kidding.
