was excitied about this 50% off thing, but when I get to check out, I'm greeted with an almost 50 dollar Canada standard shipping charge.

they ship when the last pre-orders ships. I know, it sucks unless you pay for the shipping. There is an option for that. I pre-ordered all the ones I wanted by month, so I have 1 current order that ships now and 3 seperate pre-orders. all the pre-orders were 15.97, but my order for now came out to 19.97. Either way, it is a super deal..

The code is for in stock BD and DVD. It is not supposed to work for pre-orders.

Not true.... Just select "Group My Items"

Look at my post above.... I pre-ordered all 18 titles, and they broke it up into 4 shipments..... so I won't get the "early May" titles until the "Late May" titles are released, etc.... but it's not like they're going to hold up the entire order of 18......

I tried that, but they charged $5.98 per title if I did that, which negated the discount down.

The code does not work for pre-orders. If you happen to get one or more in, they will probably cancel those.

The code worked for my Blow Out pre-order, but then I added a dvd and now the code doesn't take the price off for it. Are they not counting pre-orders?

I agree. Exact same thing happened for me. Ordered Fear & Loathing, Chungking, and America: BBS - used the "Group" together option and Criterion broke it down into 2 separate orders. Both orders are still free shipping and the pre-ordered title was $15.98.
