Aww, I missed the vote. Anyway, Hanging Rock has such a fantastic region B release I wouldn't have voted for it even though it is one of my very favorite movies ever.

Someone is selling the cardboard case for the Third Man Criterion on Amazon.com for $50. No Disc and No Booklet. I wonder if someone will buy that accidentally, thinking they're scoring a major deal on the disk.

The Man Who Fell To Earth in "Like New" Condition is going for $40, if anyone is interested. They don't ship to Canada or I'd be all over that.

This got buried pretty quickly, and I'd still love to gather some opinions of things you think should be included (such as what clips from films should be included, and what films are essential, etc).

I need to start moving ahead with this project soon, so please PM me.

At the moment I'm trying to accumulate some ideas to represent the benefits of Criterion. So if you'd like to help me, please shoot me a PM to let me know. Later this week I'll send you a mini-questionnaire about CC.

Thanks in advance.

my order was canceled. I was late to the game and only got in Ordet.

btw, I've sold crap to abundatrade. decent selling prices sometimes if you don't want to deal with ebay.

edit: I'm going to hire Lars von Trier to kick their ass

And what the coupon situation will look like if they do. Half is still a pretty good discount but if B&N hobbles the coupons I'd just as soon Criterion run their own sale directly.

Aside from some technical snafus (that they apparently have the decency to eat) everything went pretty smoothly. I'd bulk order from them in a second.

Sucks how Netflix doesn't have neither Insignificance nor Black Moon. I was reading about the movies and they sound interesting so wanted to see them to a void a bad blind buy, but oh well.

Thanks. I'm a big David Bowie fan so it was one of the films in the CC that intrigued me the most.

Well, I went to Borders to use my coupon for thin red line, little did I know I unearthed the criterion gold mine. I'm planning on buying 4, and buying ones that are all new to me (the ones I've seen are on netflix streaming)

Do you guys mind rating your favorites out of this list?

Crumb
Bottle Rocket
Army of Shadows
Charade
Hunger
M
Shock Corridor

Thanks

From what I've seen to what and like to what I don't.
1. Charade
2. M
3. Bottle Rocket
4. Crumb
5. Hunger
Haven't seen Army of Shadows or Shock Corridor, but both it and The Naked Kiss today with the Borders coupon. I'd say get Charade and M without hesitation, the rest are take or leave.
