Oh wow, I remember watching that movie when I was younger. That ending is so chilling, I would definitely revisit this movie.

Was it? That's awesome. I saw it on some hd channel a few years ago and, obviously that was the best it ever looked.

Love the film and Keaton's performance in it.

I rarely get anything from Criterion, my most recent being Leprechaun 4: in Space

, I would really like to swing for these or anything else they have up their sleeve that could possibly be horror-related.

I took a short break from watching the films in my America Lost and Found set after I finished Five Easy Pieces, because I wanted to watch Earthquake and Dirty Mary Crazy Larry/Race with the Devil this past weekend, and then resume watching Season Three of The Twilight Zone set. I'm going out of town this weekend, but will start up the box set again with Drive, He Said later on.
I've already seen the movies via my old Criterion DVD set of America Lost and Found, but the picture quality upgrade is such that watching the Blu-rays is like watching the movies for the first time again.

If you can get a cheap DVD copy or maybe find it online, watch that too. The movie (Mountains of the Moon) is well worth a viewing. I'm a big fan of Bob Rafelson now.

Found a guy locally selling Criterions for $25. While the price still doesn't beat B&N, not waiting two weeks for it to show up is well worth the difference in price. Picking up Revanche, White Material, Les cousins, and Au revoir les enfants this weekend, and probably four more titles in a couple weeks.

Nice one. Being able to grab them right away for $25 is worth it I would say.

When you add up 4 titles, it's about $10 more than B&N, but I'm not going to sweat myself over an extra $2.50 per title.

That is just weird to me but to each his own. As a matter of fact - I have gotten titles directly from criterion where there was no blu sticker attached.

YES, i want Scanners and Brood on BD badly and i think Criterion might surprise us by releasing both on BD in time for Halloween
