The titles weren't revealed until around 5:30 EST last time, not sure if that's much later than usual or typical.

With regard to going in this direction or that, I think they're fairly 'directionless' these days and that's probably not all that bad a thing overall.

They've never had a "direction", so to say they are directionless is pretty much a given. They've only released one Ozu on blu, but I'm not going to jump on them and say that Japanese family dramas aren't their direction, either. They clearly have a reason for not upgrading it yet, be it rights, obtaining the master, or they just might not think it'll sell well enough. But I doubt it has anything to do with the genre.

Good timing! I was posting about the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers in the Scream Factory thread just a few hours ago. That movie had a splendid Blu-ray presentation.

I will say though the Arrow release of Rififi is fantastic, and a great presentation, too.

It was very much Arrow's best disc, pretty much all their Academy label output was fantastic. However Arrow used to have such a bad reputation. But since the beginning of the year, they have sensationally improved. Their output so far in 2013 has been fantastic, mixing b-movie cinema with cult Hollywood films, like the Body Snatchers remake. This year they're releasing The Long Goodbye and Night of the Hunter and in 2014 they are planning to relaunch their Academy label. If their output so far this year is anything to go by, then its looking very good.
