Haven't seen Frances Ha yet, but for Godard i would recommend you to start with Breathless, then Vivre Sa Vie.

I have seen Breathless and Viv and liked them both. Breathless I find myself going back to often. Just the style of directing appeals to me. Hot women in both films as well. I will probably buy them both very soon. Hope you enjoy them

I haven't noticed any website issues , and its been kinda quiet sort to speak..Im wondering if it might be Monday...I don't know why but when their website has no issues and its after 4 EST that's not a good sign..(I guess)

It has been like that for a while. Can't remember the last announcement day the website was actually down or sluggish.

idk... perhaps a more fair assessment is just to say that this movie just isn't for me. reminds me of many people you encounter in the big city. so, in that regard, the depiction is fairly accurate. I HATED the film Greenberg, too, so take my recommendation (or non-recommendation) with a grain of salt.

Aw c'mon, don't backtrack. I haven't seen the film (only the trailers) and what you said earlier piqued my interest.

When do you think the latest time in the day it was when Criterion finally announced their titles? 5 PM EST? No later than that I would think, right?

If there's nothing within the next hour, Monday will be the announcement day.

I think the latest I recall was around 5:30pm EST, but it wouldn't be any later than 6pm EST because those guys/gals are in NYC and I'm sure they don't want to be sitting in the office that late on a Friday.

Maybe it also had something to do with Veterans Days earlier in the week on Monday, thus delaying it an extra day.
