I wont bother predicting but I hope we get a David Lynch film or two. Id also like an early Hitchcock title like Number 17..and maybe a Showa series classic Japanese scifi like The Mysterians would be cool ..
I hope we get an upgrade for one of Equinox , Thief of Bagdad , The Devil and Daniel Webster or Le Samourai

Is Y Tu Mama Tambien still a possibility? I thought Criterion was going to release it at some point...

Yea the DVD transfers look great so I know the Blu-ray releases would be amazing.

Word on the street is that Let it Be is still considered a little too controversial for some and may not see a release during Paul or Ringo's lifetime.

I've been very close to picking up the UK release of The Boarder a few times.

And now that I think about it, that's on my wishlist and I stopped watching the TCM offering a couple months ago. Perhaps I should put it on my whacky hunch list right under The Remains of the Day.

This is available from Amazon UK, region-free and at a very reasonable price.

I'd like to see a new Fellini title. La Strada, Roma, whatever. Of course La Dolce Vita too, but I don't know if it's too soon for that one or what.

Maybe an upgrade of Le Samouraļ is coming. On Criterion's webpage it is currently not in stock or sale through them, it prompts you to go to Amazon. That may be a sign that it is coming to Blu ray sooner than later.

Id love Rodan - the DVD from Classic Media isn't very good. I do love Japanese monster movies (not the Eclipse set movies however) ...
Im sure something from their year long hint will be announced...

How about some Gilliam? Maybe a bit of love for the forgotten Jabberwocky?

Also, I love that I am a Blu-Ray Guru despite only owning two titles...

Criterion needs more Gilliam though. At best, that one will be on a Mill Creek double feature with And Now for Something Completely Different.

Le Samourai
La Dolce Vita
A Lynch title
The Tenant (although I doubt Criterion would release another Polanski film so soon after Tess)
The Passenger

Those are the ones I can thing of, for now.

BN.com wouldn't let me use the $5 OFF $50 for some reason when I ordered Throne Of Blood, Rififi and La Vie De Boheme.

OTOH they do bunch things up from time to time too. I wouldn't be shocked if that came along (nor obviously would I be displeased...that's definitely one of my higher ranking wishlist survivors).

I really don't see Criterion announcing another Polanski film so soon.

I do hope if that's the case, that the transfer looks much better than what Pathe put out in France.
