Until recently I had Seconds, 39 Steps, and Badlands on my list but I found them new for < half price from seller mediablasters on half.com (and only $1.89 shipping per item if you buy more than one).
If indeed the flash sale does happen, I think I will snag one or more of: America Lost and Found: The BBS Story David Lean Directs Noël Coward Foreign Correspondent/The Lady Vanishes John Cassavetes: Five Films The Killing/Paths of Glory The Night of the Hunter On the Waterfront at least one Kurosawa title at least one Chaplin title |

judging them all together, I'm disappointed w/ the PQ on the Hitch discs.. It isn't just Universal who botched some of them up. I actually thought that Notorious looked worse than Spellbound and The 39 Steps also could have used a bit more TLC. As mentioned before, though, Shadow of a Doubt looks awesome as does Saboteur. I was pleased w/ the transfer for Vertigo. A few of them I have yet to see on blu. |

I bought Foreign Correspondent from Barnes & Noble during lunch. The digipak is in perfect condition, and it's quite beautiful. I'm really looking forward to watching this tonight when I get home from the gym.
Here's to Blu-ray # 26 in my formidable Hitchcock collection. |
