Even though I'm overjoyed about L'Eclisse, I do agree with your statement. There are many films out there that need the Criterion attention.

Could be so that libraries and other places like that who won't buy blu will still buy them. Also, there are a lot of people who still only buy DVD, and maybe Criterion's experience has shown them that there is still a market for DVD only releases.

Judex sounds very interesting.

Genuinely surprised to see L'eclisse before L'avventura, but I will take any Antonioni on blu.

I'm also made especially excited by Judex, just based on how fantastic Eyes Without a Face is.

Well Hearts and Minds is a great title.
already have the DVd but the Blu has 2 hours of interviews that are new so I might upgrade.Still I wished the announcement
was better but there is some titles of interest at least.
Judex = rental. sounds very interesting
Picnic at hanging rock = Possibly buy if I can sell my region 2 box set
Hard days night = Im cool with my 2 disk dvd. pass
Heart and minds - likely gonna upgrade my Criterion DVD if I can sell it for at least $12 . One of the best and most important docs of all time . extremely powerful
