Yes, do tell! I'm planning on having some Criterion-style stuff in my BFA portfolio/show next semester when I graduate.

yah I say lol a lot when I feel awkward haha

Most my portfolio stuff isn't really film based, I got a few bits but I'm too nervous and not confident about uploading my film poster designs lol I also do a lot of 'fake' criterions but again, not confident enough to share lol

http://james-ec.co.uk

It snot as amazing as the work in collection though - although I do dream lol

Sorry, but didn't we establish in September that bumping announcements by a day didn't really require any reason?

I forget which Woody Allen film it's in but he and Diane Keaton are having a huge argument and she yells at him something to the effect "You made me waste six months trying to understand Last Year At Marienbad!"

I have not seen it, but it comes from Manhattan Murder Mystery.

So it would be very odd if they are really rereleasing Babette's Feast on Clear case since the original release was single disc, so it was clearly their intention in the first place to release it as a digipack.
I know this message is a couple months old, but I don't follow...

Are you saying Criterion is re-releasing some of the Dual Edition digipaks in standard plastic cases? (If so, which titles exactly?)

I e-mailed them to ask this question & they claim they aren't doing this.

But I placed an order from Criterion's website during the 50% off flash sale. Of the three films I ordered, two were Dual Format titles (All That Jazz & Y Tu Mama Tambien).

I was fully expecting both of the Dual Foramt titles to packaged in the large digipaks, but All That Jazz came in a standard plastic case. (Y Tu Mama Tambien is still in the bulky digipak case.)

I hate those bulky digipak cases, by the way. I'm not bothered by the extra disc (which I'll never use) but I admit, the aesthetic bothers me... mainly b/c it takes up too much (precious) room on my DVD shelf... which is already out of space!

EDIT: Oh I just saw this page on their site: http://www.criterion.com/shop/other. But I guess they meant they're not offering replacement cases for Dual Format editions at the moment. Pity! But at least I received a standard case for All That Jazz! That was a nice surprise.

Interesting. I would definitely describe her facial expression as more of a grimace than a look of confusion. It is great to know what she said, although it doesn't give me any more confidence that they will return.

It doesn't even require bumping since I don't think they ever said they would be announcing anything today, no?

They were bumped a day last month, I would think they would not do that 2 months in a row.
