Piffle. That's not controversial. Controversial is suggesting a Complete Series Set of Gilligan's Island.

I would like both Dogville and Dancer in the Dark.

I would also love Todd Haynes Far From Heaven.

Heck, why not an upgrade of The Honeymoon Killers?

I'd be happy with my favorite Kurosawa "The Bad Sleep Well" and also, why not "Mulholland Dr"

I do not believe this was ever posted...

From Criterion's Instagram account (one week ago).

The great Vilmos Zsigmond working with one of our favorite colorists Joe Gawler on something very exciting.

Could we possibly be getting McCabe and Mrs. Miller?

[Show spoiler]
I really hope it is for IMAGES (1972)

but I bet you are more correct I could see WB not wanting to touch McCabe and Mrs. Miller. Financially a Criterion release would be more beneficial for WB.

I have never heard of Images until now, but I would certainly welcome it. It sounds awesome!

There are a lot of phantom pages on Criterion's website. Sadly that does not mean that their films will be coming.

I would wet myself over a McCabe announcement, although it would be a great candidate for Warner's Archive Collection. Just when I was setting my expectations very low, too.

Any Altman would be an amazing announcement. Images, McCabe, Short Cuts, I'd be ecstatic over any of them.

Another great pick would be the under-rated and almost forgotten Scarecrow from 1973. Pacino and Hackman at the height of their powers. Again, another great candidate for WAC.

I really love the movie and with Vilmos Zsigmond and the way he uses diffused lighting and so forth I'd bet they needed his insight into McCabe it always looked more problematic then Images but who knows.

Images is a film I would wait on a BLU to see, I haven't watched my old DVD in many years but at this point I want to hold out for a BLU. I just know one has to be coming. Images features the creepiest music John Williams ever wrote.

That would be very cool. I've been thinking a lot about Julianne Moore recently, given the advance Oscar buzz she's receiving for Still Alice. She certainly collected an armload of awards for Far From Heaven, and she deserved them all.
