What is the likelihood of Criterion releasing a box set of Bond films?

About the same chance as being hit by a meteorite with a winning lottery ticket stuck to it.

From your lips to Criterion's ear ... Thank you for the heads up!

I just noticed you were from SW Missouri, JM. Are you near Beaver Lake at all?

What would a Criterion box set of James Bond 007 films have in common with my spending a few hours in a hot tub with Olga Kurylenko and Bérénice Marlohe?

These two scenarios would be extremely unlikely, but they would also be most agreeable if ever they were to happen.

Not that it spoils anything because there are technically zero shots from the actual film, but if you’ve never seen LYaM, don’t bother.

Great song, though!

This fine music video from Blur was the biggest factor in my decision to purchase Last Year at Marienbad on DVD several years ago. It goes without saying that I loved the DVD so much that it was one my first upgrades to Blu-ray when I moved to high definition.

I was a massive fan of Blur during the 1990s, and I still am.

Exactly the same chances that I would have all of the Bond films in my Blu-ray collection.

I'm not sure if I really liked it, but I certainly didn't dislike it. There was something about it that kept me going, although nothing that I saw was anything particularly special, in my opinion.

One of the best scenes in the film, though, is located near the end. It pretty much summarizes the entire title of the film and captures the individuality that exists for its entire duration.

I'm glad I was able to rent it on iTunes before committing to a purchase.
Thanks for the post... thinking I'll try this as rental first before picking it up as a blind buy.

It absolutely crushes me that I'm no where near a 3D screening opportunity for this. I see the upcoming BD release has both 3D and 2D included. Would it even be worth seeing in 2D? I can't imagine it having anything close to the intended effect.

Beaver Lake isn't too far away ... perhaps an hour's drive, maybe a little less. It would be more accurate to say that I live off the Elk River, not far from where it joins with Big Sugar Creek.

Do you not recognize the name of the town I live in, specifically as it relates to film history?

p.s.
I am sorry for the delay. Due to medical issues, I have not been able to view screeners or write during the last 2 1/2 days. Let's hope that all is back to normal this week.
Just read the review... more excited than I was a few minutes ago.

Hope you are feeling better!!

Sometimes Best Buy will have a few. Costco carries some. Used shops usually have a few.

I think you named the 2 main culprits though. I get 99% off my Criterions online or at B&N.

Thanks, I just wish B&N weren't so expensive.
