It really is. I much prefer the original poster art that somewhat resembles the Criterion release of The Thin Red Line.

That's a great poster. I'd love to have a big print of it on my wall.

I got my copy in an auction. I think it was around $40. I need to get one from The Tree of Life to complete my Malick collection.

Once a friend; always a friend. Saimein is a big deal where I live. It's even on the McDonald's menu.

All my posters I still have are from my college days and are rolled up, and not in good shape. Just a random collection of posters from video stores and such. One day I'll have a real "man cave" to hang them in.

I cant stand the design that is a replica oaf TTRL design.. The type is disgsuting and the 'line' has no real purpose, whereas its obvious with the design fro TTRL lol.

I looooove the UK posters. I think hey represent the film the best.

I have these two babies in storage waiting to put up (alongside my House, Koyaanisqatsi and 2001 ASO posters) ignore the ugly/temp rug haha!

Also ignore the mess! lol (also that horrible picture behind TTW haha, need to replace but cant be bothered!)

[Show spoiler]

Also got this baby to frame soon!

I've actually got my own theory about the ending -
[Show spoiler]I think he kills himself. The dwarf isn't real and the story about the serial killer that's in the background is a "red" herring.
I probably will need to see the picture again soon to get a second opinion. There are open interpretations about Sutherland's character and what he's all about. Your spoiler is intriguing.
[Show spoiler]Personally, I'd like to add on to that and say he might have become a ghost at some point in the story and only the dwarf could see him. Okay, that makes no sense.
. I'm not sure if multiple viewings will shed more light on what's really going on here, but there definitely is some sort of subtext or subliminal story lines going on here.

Not to mention every time I build a cabinet to house movies and/or books, there's now room for one less poster. I've been looking for an affordable palace, but the real estate market is not being cooperative.

I've thought about doing that. I also have a few baseball and Marilyn Monroe coffee table books I'm planning on taking out pages to frame.

I did these as placeholders, but keep them perm lol frames were so cheap haha.

[Show spoiler]

Sorry about quality lol - I wanna replace them soon though!

And yes, that Visitor Q artwork is someone pressing a booby and making it lactate lol. Turning this back on Criterion, why do we not have any Takashi Miike in collection!?

Also, if you can get a copy of Criterion Designs mega cheap, there are some stunning images you can take from there - especially the fold out pages (Amacord, Zatoichi etc)
