Off the top of my head, what about the "Charade" cover? Sure, it doesn't happen too often but it does happen.

The kind you watch on your television. You could put them on your feet, but they would probably crack and you would walk funny.

Oh, I say it is, CG.

And when did you guys start building "friendships" on here? Are these legitimate friendships, or just friendships in Internet terms?

And on an avatar-related note... my damn "CC Fixx" avatar is on my computer at work, so I'm probably gonna have to look at my ugly self staring back at me all weekend.

EDIT: Forget it... I have a ton of photos on my laptop to use. I'm not giving you horny scalawags the pleasure of looking into my eyes the entire weekend.

Friendships in internet terms. This whole Criterion group is an orgy of love.

It does look pretty cool though. If I was a huge AK fan I would of wanted some film scenes all over the box though instead. I think it would look cool sitting on a shelf with scenes of his films all over it instead of something that looks like it came from reebok.

What is that on the side? That isn't a sticky label, is it?

That Paths of Glory cover looks like a cheap photoshop job. The Kirk Douglas namedrop also looks out of place. This is a bummer considering the other releases for the month all look awesome (especially The Magician).

I think of "Internet/Forum" friendships like friends you have at work. You may not hook up in person socially, but you talk crap around the watercooler.

Yeah, it probably could have been a bit more decorative. Plus it's Syracuse Orangemen colors. It does come with a book inside, that gives information on each of the movies included and has some extra bio details on Kurosawa. The discs are all packaged nicely in separate digi-pak like sleeves, as well. Overall, it's an extremely well put together box.

It's just a piece of cardboard stuck to the side of the box when you unwrap it. The box, itself, is covered in fabric, so it peels off without an issue.

Pretty much, though I have hooked up with co-workers outside of work. But I get it 100%.

If anyone wants Nana's dance at the jukebox song in mp3 let me know. I made an mp3 of it. I was wrong earlier with the name of the song.

If I ever win the lottery I'm going to do like Jay & Silent Bob and track down and confront anyone who talks trash about me on the internet.

As for The Leopard I really hadn't done much research on the film until it was announced to be released. After reading up on it a little bit I figured I would take the risk and watch it. I see that you own it, how did you like it?
Like your avatar Romulus, My marbled vinyl of In Abstentia arrived this week, listening to it right now.

Happy I was at work today to miss all your self-portraits CC

Also, how about "Mystery Train"? Name drops all over that one. (though it may not count)
