Got Blood Simple, Pan's Labyrinth, and Ride the Pink Horse (blind buy).

Had too much trouble deciding on a fourth, so I'll just wait until my pockets are a little deeper next month at B&N.

I rather wait for the B&N sale next month, at least then I won't have to pay for shipping and I can actually have it in hand instead of waiting.

Picked up 10 titles to get BD complete again. I wish I had held off on pre-ordering the del Toro set and ordered today, but my kids can live on Vienna sausages for the next month to make up.

I'm waiting, too. There's really only a few titles I need to own. Plus, I'm trying to get back to the mindset of buying only the titles I will definitely re-watch.

I still have a $10 voucher to use, but I don't really want to buy $55-$60+ worth of stuff to use it to get FS. Their shipping rates for a single title should seriously be illegal. They want $6.95 for just one movie. You're telling me they can't just ship it USPS first class, which would be under $3? Hell, even USPS Priority flat rate is cheaper than that.

Considering the fact that they are discounting everything, why do you think they care if it costs them sales? They are making less per unit than they normally would. You still get your reward certificates. Full participant here, because I choose to support the company directly.

But thanks for chiming in so fast! Almost like you were watching for me with excuses ready.

Ride the Pink Horse is great. I was surprised by it when I first watched it.

The thing with B&N is that if they don't do their %off over X amount of dollars order like the disaster it was last time, it is not really cheaper unless you have a local B&N close (and if you like going to physical stores).

Except for their 30% off black Friday coupon, which you need to use on a boxset to maximize savings and avoid shipping.

The $76.00 Hitchcock box qualifies.

I was also surprised to see this sale, considering the B&N sale happening next month. Anyway 50% off is 50% off no matter when!

Bought:
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
Blood Simple
Cat People
McCabe & Mrs. Miller
Pan's Labyrinth
Short Cuts
Valley of the Dolls

Was ready and waiting at noon when the sale went active...

Zatoichi set
Blood Simple
McCabe & Mrs. Miller
Pan's Labyrinth
Short Cuts

Used the $50 rewards gift certificate I've had for a while waiting to be used in this sale, so my total was only $129.85. Looking forward to digging into the Zatoichi set, having seen so many people here praising it.
