Kino has the rights to Stalker, and I'd love for them to put that out. Their Blus seem to be pretty impressive. I'd actually prefer the newer Solaris on blu, but either one would be cool.

We get 10 Criterion Blu films in November. I don't think anyone expected December to be that big. And Chronos and Videodrome are good films.

You just answered my question though, non-Criterion or Kino orders will ship quick. Criterion and Kino orders take longer. That's all I was asking dude. Was trying to build up info as to why some deepdiscount orders ship faster. In no way was I messing with or bashing you for being off-topic. It was just a question.

After watching and really enjoying The Last Picture Show for the first time recently I decided to watch the supposed sequel to the film Texasville. Big mistake on my part. Texasville turned out to be of extremely poor quality compared to the original. Oh well. I'm still looking forward to The Last Picture Show as part of the box set.

I'm not a fan of the new Solaris film but The Game is a terrific film. I'd love to see Criterion pick it up.

I thought you just disliked his more recent stuff. I don't care for most of his recent work. But films like Duel, Jaws, Close Encounters, the original Indiana Jones trilogy and Schindler's List are some of my favorite films.

It's horrible imo. Way too many twists, about half-way through I didn't even care if it was a game or not. Would even watch Panic Room twice before watching that gibberish once more. Wild Things 2.

It's strange that I never see any kind of love for Munich, which is far and away his best film.
