I think most of the posters are from films that Janus has done a theatrical run of, so they used these posters at the various theaters they screen the film.

Alejandro Jodorowsky (just watched Jodorowsky's Dune at the time and the guy struck me as quite the character)

I think Criterion should release a blu-ray for Trent Reznor including music videos, short films, live performances, interviews, etc.

If I am not mistaken, I believe it is OOS it is off limits. Similar to the B&N sale, but B&N sales are so long time wise that they usually get a few restocks during that time frame.

Possible I suppose, but I’d prefer a standalone release that includes the shorter IMAX cut with the Brad Pitt narration and the 90 minute cut with Cate Blanchett. The three foreign releases above are all the 90 min version.

The film will be released in the future by The Criterion Collection.

I think you mean the Romanian director Cristian Mungiu, not the director of Phoenix.

It's very good, by the way. Worth checking out if you're a fan of his other work.

i waited for years for this film and it wasn't worth it...

i don't know if the shorter version (without those low youtube quality videos) is any better..

Yes. 2/28 last year and 2/23 the year before. 24 hours long.

'The Square' is only being released on DVD this coming Tuesday from magnolia, hopefully that means a Criterion bluray release will come at a later time.

I’m guessing earlier this year because it seems that it always happens near a “big” release. SOTL and NOTLD seems too good to pass up.

The Criterion site doesn't tell whether something is a digipack? or am I missing where it states this information?

Disappointed to find out Night of the Living Dead is a digipack. It's possible I'll just get it anyway. Not sure yet.
