The Shop Around The Corner comes free as a DVD with the Blu-Ray release of You've Got Mail. It's not a Blu-Ray, but the PQ is pretty good. And, yes, it's still available.

The Shop Around the Corner or Trouble in Paradise easily. If Warner Archive want to release the former and Criterion opt for the latter, that would also be fine

They essentially confirmed that for 2020, here. I'm thinking it might be something Orson Welles related.

I'm still holding out hope for it to be Roma (2018), and be their first UHD title too. The timing would work well with Cauron saying a BD release would come towards the end of the year, and it's been heavily rumored that Criterion has worked a deal out with Netflix for some content.

I'd love to get "The Smiling Lieutenant" but any of the four in that box would be good. I saw "Trouble in Paradise" screened last year at a UCLA-affiliated theater, and half of the conversation was about how poor the Criterion transfer was for the DVD, so perhaps there are source issues with that one?

If Criterion made a deal with Netflix, I truly hope the Ballad of Buster Scrubbs is part of that. One of my favorite films from 2018.

I had a dream lastnight that Criterion announced a fully loaded upcoming release for Cronenberg's Crash. Ugh, it was so real!

Has it been confirmed that Criterion has Crash? It seems like it's been talked about for years, but wasn't sure if it was confirmed or not.

It's rather heartbreaking that more Lubitsch titles haven't been picked up/the other four in the Eclipse series and Trouble in Paradise haven't been upgraded yet.

As for a few other, like The Merry Widow I will be overjoyed if it's in the collection, but still very satisfied if it is from the Warner Archive.

Also, if Criterion has made a deal with NetFlix, I wonder if it includes films not released yet? My biggest fear is that the Irishman doesn't get a Blu-ray release, but maybe it will with Criterion.

Nothing concrete. Just Criterion having a deal with Warner’s and Cronenberg saying he was working on a new restoration sometime last year.

Well, hope it happens. A major Cronenberg title missing on Blu-ray. I'd take a Warners Archive at this point, but can wait if a Criterion is coming.

I believe that Eureka looked at the scan of Trouble in Paradise they had and decided there was no point in the upgrade.

TiP is my favourite romantic comedy ever. I would love a nice new 4K scanned blu from either Eureka or Criterion.
