As long as a title or two that I want get a number, I don't care what they do with the 1000.

Exactly. I'd rather Criterion update previous titles to bluray or introduce new films into the collection that don't already have a great release available.

I will be disappointed if it isn't the Godzilla set. The only other announcement that could console me would be The Elephant Man.

I am particularly disappointed every time that it isn't Come and See that is announced. So I am ready to be disappointed in some way...

Box sets usually get their own special announcements though don’t they?

I seem To remember Bergman and Olympics being announced on non-announcement days. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong
