Criterion announced the Bergman set a few days before the director's birthday. If the same is done for Fellini's centennial this could possibly mean a January 2020 announcement with an April 2020 release.

This set could possibly include (If Criterion has the rights for everything again):

I don't think so. The latest restoration of Seventh Seal is still an exclusive to the Bergman Box.

A teensy part of me wonders if it’ll include Rossellini’s L’AMORE (Janus Films, plus CC branding on the Channel), which was co written by Fellini and includes him in the role of St. Joseph. L’AMORE hasn’t been released on disc yet but the transfer looked pretty good/HD to me!

Not region A but L'amore is on blu ray in HD as an extra in the BFI's Rossellini War Trilogy Boxset.
