Lists, and games of this sort have been going on since the beginning of thread. It's usually what happens in between announcements and newsletter clues.

If you don't care for it, then post something of value that actually shifts the thread in a different direction.

Which is why I couldn't wait for Criterion to get off their arse and release it on blu and instead imported the excellent Eureka MoC edition. Still holding on to my Criterion DVD, though.

Picked this up recently as I have a fondness for quirky documentaries of all varieties. It's a single disc with the two docs, both of which are great, and a small smattering of supplements.

This set is one of my all time favorite Criterion blind-buys. If you have even the slightest love for colorful and moving French cinema of this vintage you won't be disappointed.

Man, I wish that was region free! Also, while I love the cover (it appears to be original poster art), I don't know who the woman depicted was supposed to be. As I recall, Katherine Hepburn was a spinster missionary in The African Queen. Maybe their first choice was Rhonda Fleming?

I watched my copy of Carnival of Souls last night. That is one very creepy and nightmarishly eerie horror film! A very influential horror film as well. The Criterion blu ray transfer is stunning. I highly recommend this release to any horror fan!

I liked Rochefort even more than Umbrellas... it's a fun and frothy musical that plays more like a traditional musical than Umbrellas did. The

Agree with all of this. It's funny, my brain refuses to retain memory of that particular subplot in between viewings of the film. Screened it for a friend 3 weeks ago and thought to myself "Oh. Right. So here's this random part again."

The (joyfully improbable) ending is also so very perfect.
