Glad to have the trilogy in 4K. No format is really legitimate until it's been consecrated with the Evil Dead trilogy.

Wish all three official cuts make it via seamless branching for this disc if ALL three get the 4K restoration. Don't need multiple discs for each cut if it's all remastered from the same source. Unless Shout/Scream has never done seamless branching. Still going to keep the BD & DVD release, same as I've been doing with the other EVIL DEAD titles.

Is everyone really that excited to keep re-buying the same movies? It’s a waste of money. The prior Blu Ray was really good.

The shout one? The one that had a recall? That had 2 better version's released in the world that were better? In a lower resolution than this? That one?

That’s what we do.
Lost track of how many movies I’ve bought on VHS, then dvd, then blu-ray, then 4K. As long as they keep improving, I’ll certainly keep updating.

That's the one!

I honestly don't mind the people who buy the same movie over and over. It keeps physical media alive, and (most importantly) it's not my money.

My 9 copies of The Wizard of OZ are so relieved that you feel this way.

I don't actually own this in any home media version so I'm extremely happy it's being released.

Even worse is upgrading numerous times without watching them. I've owned at least two dvd editions of this movie, two blus and will likeky get the uhd as well. And the last time I can recall seeing the movie was in the theater as a kid.

I enjoy the current Shout release very much but there is still room for improvement. Not only am I incredibly excited for this release, I expect it to be a mighty pleasing upgrade through the addition of HDR alone.

Same. I'm kinda surprised that Uni is licensing out their more stable cult sellers like this and Tremors. I was certain that both of them would come directly from the big boys themselves, but I guess they can't pass up the chance to make guaranteed doe from licensing fees and possibly have someone else go to the trouble of actually restoring the films in question.

I could wallpaper my house with Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army Of Darkness cover art from the releases that I have bought over the decades. Day one for this version too.

I hope that Scream starts doing like They Live, all their 4Ks with original poster art! I love this poster!

The prior Shout was so half assed. Like they started branching together the best sources to make a composite, and mid way gave up because it was too much work and they wanted to move on to something else.
