The Aussie disc has a much better grain structure and a more pleasing image overall.

Hi Joseph. Big fan of your site. Do you know of any other slashers being prepped for a Blu Ray release?

We offered them our interview with Lesleh Donaldson, but as we listened back, we realized it was mostly about Curtains and Funeral Home; not exactly fitting with the title of release.

I do believe they were going to attempt to contact her and others, but I am ultimately uncertain.

From Powerhouse, I am not sure, but we've been offered commentary gigs on two `80s slashers via Arrow, and two from Vinegar Syndrome, the titles I cannot give away as of yet because they haven't been officially announced.

I can say we have covered three of the four titles (three of them are set in stone, the fourth is a MAYBE).

I expect the Arrow releases to be early 2017 and the VS titles to be mid 2017.

Thanks for listening!

Thanks for the update! To say I am excited is an understatement. Hopefully they are titles that have not been released previously.

Great news that Arrow have two more slashers lined up. They did a wonderful job with Blood Rage and The Mutilator. I wonder if one is Funeral Home, I noticed it on Shudder, which has quite a lot of Arrow licenses. They also have a few VS titles, perhaps it could be coming from VS.

Great that the Hysteria Continues member with the best taste is now on this forum! Thank god we got Nathan and not Inga! Really cool to see you guys pop up on quite a few label's releases now. I'm double dipping on Happy Birthday To Me for that very reason.

The kind of news I like to hear - thanks . Looking forward to hear more about the Arrow titles as VS hasn't been acquiring anything good. I mean, Hobgoblins? Seriously? And the DeCouteau stuff are cute time capsules but the acting is so atrocious they're barely watchable.

Wants to be or at best both versions if they can't be bothered to include extras like we've seen on Christine and Body Double

There's an audio commentary too. The booklets in the previous Indicator releases are excellent, would recommend giving them a look (personally I'd take a good booklet over the vast majority of on-disc supplements).

Yeah, audio commentary that's it for the disc. These are meant to be limited editions and the label is being likened to Arrow Video.....not with these lame extras.

They've done it for their other releases. Surely there are featurettes or interviews? Even a doc about 80s horror or something.

I get some people enjoy booklets, I don't. I rarely flick through and sometimes chuck, if I'm adding an extra disc. I'm buying visual, movies to watch. If I want to delve into the movie or about it or it's actors I'll use the net, which has far more info and pictures then any booklet.

It's a shame, that's all. I had the impression this label was issuing something special, like Arrow Video or Criterion. The Body Double release was exciting to get hold of, looks like Christine was too both packed.

Still looking forward to this. It's the movie above all else, just a bit meh about it compared to the hype this label has encouraged.
