I've ridden quite a few subs out of Point Loma. I don't go down to the SD area as much lately though, other than CEDIA of course.

Funny you mention bikes, I loaned my Blu-ray of the Penton Story to my dad yesterday to check out. He is turning 70 this week and is thinking about buying one of those Honda Monkeys to fool around with. He used to repair/rebuild mini bikes before I was born to fool around with when he wasn't desert riding on a Bulltaco.

And tell him the Pursang and Matador caused me to dislike Amal carbs immensely ….so much so that I actually switched out the Amal for a Mikuni (which I re-jetted myself) on my Penton Jackpiner, despite John (Penton) not being altogether too happy about it, but then as a consequence it became 1-kick to start every time no matter the weather conditions or how tired my leg was.

For those of you tourist types someday planning a stay on Coronado (which is where current TG: M filming is taking place) and wondering where to unpack your suitcases, well, the Del, because of its longtime heritage has the rep for being the finest hotel, but personally I think the true and relatively unknown gem (due to its location on the bay which is sweeeet!) is the Coronado Island Marriott Resort & Spa, especially if you can afford a private cottage. You never know who you might run into on the way to the lobby.

P.S.
And for those of you planning a getaway vacation to woo your girlfriend, there’s nothing like opening up the patio door on the backside of your cottage to sit down and feed the koi fish and ducks hanging out in your own personal quaint fish pond, so come prepared with the appropriate food.

I think the issue is that Dolby's idea of "some nominal costs" is rather different from most small companies' and in many cases, unrealistic.
