Agreed. The Uncompressed audio from NIN is the ONLY way to hear some of those older songs.

30 DAYS OF NIGHT. One of the best PQ & AQ on Blu-ray. Outstanding.

I would have to say 300, 3:10 to yuma if you have 7.1, I robot, and live free or die hard. Why isn't anyone mentioning 300?

I have to say, I wasnt thrilled with Dark Knight, as far as AQ goes. I thought the dialog was a bit weak..almost hard to hear (mentioned in other post). I wouldnt give this a 'best AQ' rating at all. Love the movie...wont complain about PQ and AQ (too much)....but still..just nitpicking a bit.

I totally agree with you in regards to the low volume of the dialogue in The Dark Knight. It could have been increased a bit.

I didn't find Iron Man's AQ to be that great probably because I watched it right after The Dark Knight, which would make any movie look bad.

Default As for Audio

Let me suggest either the Patriot or Black Hawk Down.
Both have outstanding AQ.

I don't think anything else is even close. Read the reviews on Blu-ray.com and you'll see that there wasn't one person who scored the audio lower than a 5. Even people who didn't normally concern themselves with technical matters commented on how good it sounds.

Whenever anyone comes over and wants to check out a Blu-ray demo, that's what goes on.
OH YA!!!A+++

+1. I had to increase the volume of my center speaker. The action parts, on the other hand, sound amazing.

"Betrayed" is a solo by Tim Reynolds that will absolutely blow everyone away. Crank it up. Also, "Lie In Our Graves" and "Two Step" are demo-worthy tracks.

I have to agree wholeheartedly with this. In fact, from the opening credits crank it up and close your eyes until the battle is over. Every creak, the lapping of waves against the hull, sleeping men swinging in their hammocks, footsteps running back and forth across the deck. You'll swear you're on the boat with them.

The DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 mix on the "Shoot 'Em, Up" disc is to die for!!! The steering from channel to channel is absolutely awe inspiring.
"Joe Bob says check it out!"

I know its pretty opinionated but I'd like to hear what ya'll think and I might make the movie I show based on that.

Thanks.
SonyXBRtv,

I'm a noob My first post here woo! My collection is small, but here's my opinion.....

Obviously people won't be sitting down, glued to the t.v. screen right after they arrive (especially at a NYE party), so wait until you get a good amount of people settled in and then put on something that will catch EVERYONE'S attention and totally suck them into the blu experience.....and nothing is a better choice than: BAND OF BROTHERS, episode 2, titled "DAY OF DAYS". It starts off as the paratroopers are flying into Normandy. It will blow your mind.
