The BEST Audio Quality Blu-ray Megathread

I know the Incredible Hulk and Ironman both had great reviews, but when I watched them I was using my old standard dolby/dts receiver.Still I was impressed with both..But now that I have 7.1 lossless I half to say Hellboy 2 is awesome.The part where the prince is jumping around with his spear and comes down in the puddle of water let's you hear every little sound.From the whishing of the spear to the deep bass when he hits the ground.But the fight scene with the tooth fairies is even more impressive.You can almost feel the gunshots in your chest.If you want a movie that will show what your sound system can do be sure to check it out.Now I half to watch the Hulk again with DTS 7.1 MA.

new to the forum and blu-ray technology. Really psyched to be apart of it as i watched the HD Wars go on. Recently asked for and received a PS3 for christmas along with 3 titles(TDK,Live Free or Die Hard,Transformers).

I was wondering in your OPINION, what the BEST sounding film is on blu-ray? Whether is be action or war, whatever you think. Would love to hear your opinion to get a better feel for what titles i should look into to buy. Thanks!

At this point, there are so many.

Overall, I still like Cloverfield.

Rambo is awesome as was stated earlier.

The opening music to Wild Things is amazing in PCM.

The Alien Vs. Predator movies aren't too shabby either.

Also look at the sports movies like Remember the titans or we are marshall they dont get mention alot but the sound on the actual football parts blew me away with the sound of the hard hitting action

Guys, so I had the party yesterday, and I bought Rambo earlier in the week so watched it for first time yesterday with the people who came over. Damn I really appreciate the people here who recommended it as the best audio Blu!

Rambo

Holy!!! Now THAT is what you call a film! Wow! Amazing! This movie is for all the guys! If you love shooting, killing, heads blowing up, blood, violence, violence, and more violence then this is the perfect movie.

Enjoyed it from start to finish, it is a thrill ride. Must watch for the guys. The audio is just BANGING. If you have a surround sound then this is definitely the movie to test those speakers. Put the volume on -15 and sit back and relax.

Picture Quality - 9.5/10 nearly perfect picture

Audio Quality - 10/10 the best audio I've heard.

Overall Movie - 10/10 thrill ride from start to finish with Sylvester Stallone at his best

Some of the sounds in certain movie scenes are the whole reason why I've bought the movies I have on bluray, first, before any others. I have few, but "Resident Evil" has a hallway scene where soldiers wearing black suits are pursuing down a hallway. Water is trickling, leaking through a sheet of glass with holes in it. But best of all, the soundtrack is booming in subtle way, you can hear Synthesizer Brass, buzzing faintly as the soldiers look around corners in the wet hallway. Absolutely pleasing quality in HD.

The best sound i've heard on blu ray is the drums on the Queen Rock Montreal and Live Aid disc[sounds as realistic as any i've heard on disc].....but only on the Montreal portion.
