Just watched The Mummy again, and boy that is one LOUD soundtrack!

The LFE is used nicely too!

I think that has to be the busiest, or at least one of the busiest soundtracks ever!

The dynamics are off the hook!

It's hard to believe the track is never distorted for being at such a sickly high level!

Baraka!!!!

Sunshine! (LOVE IT!)

Hulk (Ang Lee)

Up (WOW)

Iron Man (There are some great moments too)

Ok, here are the favorites of my collection for A/Q, from the best one (#1) to (#6).

#1) Star Trek (The most dynamic and detailed soundtrack ever)
#2) Terminator Salvation (Loudest and one of the the most bass heavy)
#3) The matiixes (They were always considered top demo material)
#4) Avatar
#5) Die hard 4
#6) Cars

Other worthy mentiones that I dont have, but heard are really good.
Cloverfield, Hulk 1,2, King Kong, I-robot, 9, Kung Fu Panda, Master and the Commander, and so on......

The New best is Private Ryan. Terminator Salvation comes after that.

The single scene that had the biggest impression on me for A/Q was at the very begining of Terminator Salvation when it says Warner Brothers.
Wow.c Its so powerfull and deep.

THe Woodstock Director's cut, for music is pretty awesome, although filmed in 1970. It had an Academy Award Nomination. Its archived by the National Film Registry.

I'm watching Outlander right now and I'm surprised at how great the audio quality is. Just watching the ship crashing scene in the very beginning is pretty impressive. Very immersive.

Dolby 7.1 theater audio should benefit the eventual 3D Blu-ray.

Just rewatched "Pandorum" last night, and the Audio soundtrack is PRETTY GOOD I'd say.

* Check the scene near the end, when our lovely couple is ejected from the ship, and are going full throttle towards the *****'s surface!
...Talk about bass' orgasm!

Just watched The Incredible Hulk, that is one intense soundtrack. Everytime the Hulk screamed I thought my apartment walls were going to cave in.
