Good to read all the glowing audio reports for this title......of course this is to be expected considering the reference audio on the DVD, but still good to read it lives up to expectations. Still have not watched my copy, but looking forward to it tonight or tom.

Too bad Spider-man 3 was the weakest of the trilogy in terms of story.

Don't get me wrong, it sounded great, but it's not top tier with the likes of War of the Worlds, Saving Private Ryan, and Rambo. And in terms of LFE, both WOTW and Inception are much more powerful than Tron.

I recently watched Road to Perdition and I was blown away by the audio quality. Anyone else feel the same?

Totally! The guns sounded like canons and Newman's score was magnificent!

Watched the Incredibles over the weekend and the AQ was off the charts! Probably the best AQ of any animated movie I've ever seen.

My top 5 animated AQ list would probably look like:

1. The Incredibles
2. Kung-Fu Panda
3. How to Train Your Dragon
4. Toy Story 2
5. Monsters Inc

Default Best AQ ?

I'm getting some new speakers and really want to let them sing. What would you consider to be the best AQ BD's out there?

Would like to add Pan's Labyrith to it.
It doesnt seem to be a movie where sound matters, but damn, the sound quality of it is pure referance all the way through.

SPR is awesome, but if you don't have it. Check out The Pacific. It will make you deaf if you play it loud during battle scenes.

I like the in Iron 2 when he is flying. The sonic boom makes the house shake.
My wife hates that. And also on Tron Legacy when get rounded up by that
ship.

If I were to post a short list I would include the exact same titles! Impressive, especially SPR and Incredibles!

Its been since spring break, but when I played The Thin Red Line on my set up, it was freaking awesome hearing the carnage rumbing in the set up, so organic, yet never out of bombast, as was the gorgeous, dream-like Cinematography was. Plus, no Orange skintones!

Wouldn't recommend using games to tweak your sound settings, as far as I know games that are out there don't use lossless codecs and they're usually two channels.

This is one of my favorite BDs, the AQ is definitely demo-worthy.
