Lol I changed my list a little bit its so hard to choose! but yeah Cloverfield ROCKS the house at certain parts of the movie. Its probably my number 1 choice for audio but I took it off my list because some people might not like the shaky camera...the whole movie has a really neat 3D effect with the audio, stuff flying around everywhere!

I forgot the movie THOR too, great audio track!

Master and Commander takes the cake in that department.

For me 3:10 to Yuma was the best audio experience so far out of my collection, not an easy choice to make by far. Just the whole end sequence with the gun shots and the train pulling into the station just made me feel I was right there.

There's tons of great movies out there as far as AQ, but my choice to test out my speakers is The Pacific, Episode 8 - Scene with Iwo Jima. The beginning second of that scene will blow your subwoofers away, plus I like to use this scene to test out rear speakers as well.

There have been so many new BDs after it, where i feel it should slide off of the best of lists.

Thor, Capt.America, and X-First Class are better IMO.

The Incredible Hulk shook my windows. I remember one specific scene when
[Show spoiler]the Hulk got struck by lightning and in a fit hurled a huge rock towards the sky and roared...GOOD GOD that was loud.

I'm quite sure it was shot entirely on digital, no 35mm or IMAX (film or digital) cameras used.

I probably have a few odd choices for demo material but in no particular order:

How to Train Your Dragon 2D (2D version is 5.1 TrueHD and 3D version is 7.1)

Akira - Holy Cow

Cloverfield - great directionality and bass

Fright Night (1985) - it's no Transformers but the music and effects are impressive. Gave me a new appreciation of an already fondly remembered classic.

Speed Racer - lossy DD 5.1 but still a solid stunner

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - silly film, great audio

Drive - great movie to go with great music and sound effects and every nuance of dialog can be heard.

Head (part of the BBS Criterion collection) - The Monkees never sounded so good. Great music experience.

Star Wars: Phantom Menace - Pod Race sequence - 'nuff said

Thor - wowzers, most impressive bass and directionality

Correct. Run down of cameras used:

It was just opened up to 1.78:1 for effect.
