Watched TRON: Legacy in 3D again yesterday and it still blows away everything else in terms of AQ. The only title I can think of off hand that comes close is Prometheus.

The campus scene in Incredible Hulk and the gas station scene in Terminator Salvation are two of my demo scenes.

A quad subwoofer setup is the only way to go, even if you can only afford budget subs like me.

You may want to consider adding two more B-52 18's to your basement theater.
That way you'll be able to knock the pictures off the wall of everyone in your neighborhood.

BTW - Who makes B-52 18's? Never heard of them before, can you post a link?

Watched The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition last night. KILLER audio on that one.

Aside from all the big booming sound effects there are so many little, more subtle effects I'd yet to hear until now. Its amazing to have Blus like this...makes it feel as though youre hearing it for the first time.

Don't forget about 2005's War of the Worlds, for the ultimate in deep,
(we're talking infrasonic, single digit territory), powerful bass.

It's revered by bassaholics worldwide.

The legendary Tripod emergence scene, is the standard issue go to scene, that
many audio/video dealers use to demo there theaters, to potential customers.

I've always loved the presentation of Howard Shore's score!

I'd like to experience The War of the World's tripod scene and Knowing's airplane crash scene with a quad-sub setup

I'm expecting Dredd to be a powerhouse. Recently, Resident Evil: Retribution is among my favorites!
