Yes, I think that too. When I got my Samsung UBD K-8500 I thought "good, I don't have to press the dimmer boton on that" as I switch ALL displays (except T.V. of course) when watching a movie.

I also recommend Sully and The Martian: Director's Extended Cut. Sully is a straightforward docudrama, but its Dolby Atmos track is very effective and the HDR use is notable. The Martian is a good looking disc and the story is compelling, though not on the same level as the also somewhat tongue-in-cheek space epic The Right Stuff.

That is just a assumption I thought. For example the 203 uses a MT8591 (custom developed), where as the Sony ZD9 for example uses a MT5891. Not seen anyone bust open a UBP-X800 yet, want to be the first with a image of the inside? They certainly never mentioned SoC being able to do DV.

I really hope they expand the choices of free 4K movies from the original 15 by the time the offer expires in June.

It would be a dream to get the original Spider-Man movies as part of the offer. They may be out by June.

Anyone else's player not getting Netflix to show 4k content? It's not even an option in the main menu like it is with my other streaming box. I was hoping to move that box to a different TV.

Amazon works properly after the update today, but Netflix still isn't showing 4k. I tried resetting all of the settings in the menu, including the personal info. My Netflix account is flagged for 4k and my internet connection test is 83mbps, so I really don't know what the issue is.

*Edit* Resolved. The issue was with a setting on my TV for the HDMI input I was using. Once I changed the setting, Netflix started working with 4k and HDR.

Did you go into the Netflix settings area and do the restart app and or reset, whatever is in there? I have seen people having this issue on other blu-ray players, and the Roku.

That's strange. Mine is showing both 4K and HDR content.

Yeah, it is. That was a list typed up my someone, and it seems accurate to what I saw.

As far as not wanting any, you could grab two popular ones and sell them.

It's a $300 player that's pretty great and they're offering a healthy selection of titles... and they're giving us two. Hard to complain about that. There's a couple of titles I wouldnt' mind owning.
