I don't know, I just checked their UK website...I'm from Kanada me.
Give them a call or send them a email and ask where you can buy, and tell them too to indicate it on their UK website. Maybe it's still too new to them to have all the dealers info yet? Best, ☎️ Call us: +44 (0) 2073652810 Opening hours: Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 18:00. Last edited by LordoftheRings; 06-21-2019 at 11:44 PM. |

Hey All.
I upgraded to the X800 after my Oppo BDP93 bit the dust. One thing I’ve noticed about the X800 is that it won’t pick up from where it left off if a disc I’ve been watching remains in the player after it’s been in standby mode. The same goes for swapping between discs. I can’t use the play all function on a TV series if I put the disc back in as it just defaults to the usual start up and menu screen. Is there a way I can change this? |

There are a few older Blu-ray discs that have no resume play function at all and even on the classic OPPO Blu-ray player the Blu-ray disc will start at the beginning. Last edited by HDTV1080P; 07-17-2019 at 03:07 PM. |

New here regarding the UBP-X800...just purchased one as open box from Best Buy.
Still growing into 4K and have yet to purchase a 4K TV, but decided to go with the UBP-X800 for Dolby Atmos playback on my LG SK10Y Soundbar. I'm wondering if it is possible to playback MKV files with Dolby Atmos via USB? I know it isn't possible while streaming over wifi via media server. Not sure how to set up external USB drive or flash drive for playback. I own mostly Apple iMac/Macbooks, but do have Windows PC laptop. Need assistance in formatting and set up. Any information will be greatly helpful and appreciated. Thanks! ![]() |

![]() Thanks for the info... I have transferred a lot of my blu-ray library onto my PLEX Media Server and the ones with Dolby Atmos aren't playable via wifi. I thought maybe that having it physically connected to an external drive via USB would solve that issue. I guess the only way is being played directly from the actual Blu-ray Disc. ![]() |

Iask because I watched batman begins and the flesh tones look a little 'warm',same for the dark knight. Sorry for the ramble I'd just appreciate the help.

I just heard the announcement that Amazon is dropping support for the Prime Video app on Sony BD players, but i'm slightly confused if it includes all BD and UHD players or just really old BD players made before 2015 or so? I find it odd that even Sony's US site doesn't mention a list of affected products like the UK site for the Bravia TVs do.
Case you all wonder I have my UBP-X800 UHD player I got about a year ago on markdown at Target that I watch content on the Prime Video app. |

https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custo...VUVG5EA65HWZ4A Similarly got word via Amazon e-mail about two weeks ago about my (2012 model year) Pannys losing the Amazon app in September. Now getting harder for someone who wants to stream via BD player with analog outs. |

After digging, I found the US and CAN list of Sony devices that will drop supporting the Prime App after Sep 26th:

Had deep color issue with blackouts if it was turned on with BLU-RAY being upconverted to 4K in the UBP-X800. Liking it so far... |

how's it working out for you? I put it in my Amazon cart the other day after confirming it had/supported Dolby Atmos AND Dolby Vision.
Now I just need to save up some $$$$$ for it And a 4K TV, prob one of these 2 Sony's (both are 65"). My current TV is a 70" 3D Sharp LCD that works/looks fine, but obv if I want to see And hear the best available content (in 4K), I need to upgrade eventually. So while I'm Looking at one of these 65" ones, I may see what's avail for a similar price point in the 70" size(s), prob an LG ![]() $1798 $1498 damn this hobby.... ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Aerodude73; 08-14-2019 at 09:38 PM. |
