I do not like Top Gun, but I'm there opening day. The footage looks incredible.

I am a big fan of the original Top Gun movie, of Tom Cruise as an actor, and this trailer just rocked. Wow! Can't wait to see this.

That's pretty old news, and hasn't been given any traction at all. I wouldn't call that much of an indicator.

I was so leery of this sequel so many years so late. But I am so in. My jaw dropped wide open and I got major goosebumps watching this. I loved this teaser and I honestly can't wait for this.

Stunning photography. Cruise looks like he is actually flying the fighter jet(Becuase he is!), the remix of the Top Gun theme was great, it hit me right in the feels and I loved every minute of it.

Yes....because....the Navy is going to definitely back-up articles that disparage people that just paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As someone who has been on both ends of these things, I know how this goes.

Is any of the footage from the first movie? Some of those shots seem familar (shirtless volleyball? singing at the bar) but blend in fairly well with the new footage.

I was interested in this, but that trailer just made this fly up my most anticipated list and washed the bad taste of the Cats trailer from my mind!

“They’re using some technology on this that is never before seen,” Hamm said. “We’re shooting the movie in, I think, 6K. So it’s incredibly hi-def. The aerial footage is mind-blowing. And it’s mostly practical. There’s not a lot of CG. Those guys are really up in planes and getting thrown around in multiple Gs … I’ve seen some of the footage, it is out of this world.”

sounds like a reference video/audio 4K Blu-ray...

Looking forward to a future Dolby Cinema showing. You just know the sound is going to ****ing rock. Hope this also brings about a 4K of the original.
