Nah, then it will have to compete with Black Adam, Wakanda Forever, Avatar, and who knows what else. They should try to bring it back to premium screens sooner rather than later

By September 7 Top Gun: Maverick will be @ $690 million roughly, so just $10 million short of the big 7 domestic, to rank #5 of all-time. But, worldwide the $1.4 billion; mission accomplished, ranking #12 on the planet.

I got time, I'm in no rush; the 4K Blu-ray by the end of September or October is just fine by me, before it starts to snow. That'll give me plenty of time to view it multiples times before Avatar 2.

Yeah, it seems that August 26 is perfect for PLF screens (TG:M).

The Wife and I are going for our 3rd viewing tonight. Our second viewing was in IMAX, and we were patiently awaiting the 4K UHD, when the rumored release date had been August 23rd. She's just over 37 weeks pregnant now, and we had originally hoped to crank up the home theater with said disc, but with it possibly being pushed to October, we decided to give it one last go, before we have to keep our audio system at a more reasonable volume. Not gonna lie, I hope this thing takes as many records as possible.
