Yeah I knew it would've gone over my head, and it did. It didn't help that the pic was so unclear. Even taking a screenshot and adjusting the image levels didn't help. That brown tornado on the patch was impossible to see on the set photo.

Kudos though for at least not being afraid to step up and give it a shot….especially with you not being from the U.S. Heck, I couldn’t tell you how far apart or close by the Man City/ManU or Liverpool/Everton stadiums are even though I watch the matches from the Prem every weekend.

Still think this film is going to suffer due to the loss of Tony Scott. At the same time hearing that Faltermeyer is back combined with Kenny Loggins saying he wants to work with someone to update Danger Zone for Top Gun: Maverick tells me they know what fans want.

Christopher McQuarrie Is Working On Top Gun 2's Script

Mission: Impossible - Fallout's Christopher McQuarrie is once again collaborating with Tom Cruise, as the writer-director is confirmed to be working on the script for Top Gun: Maverick. The long-awaited sequel to Cruise's 1986 blockbuster Top Gun was originally set for a 2019 release, but was recently pushed back to summer 2020. Joseph Kosinski, who worked with Cruise on the sci-fi film Oblivion, is directing the sequel.


Over 30 years after Top Gun roared its way to iconic status, Maverick sees Cruise's Pete Mitchell continuing to feed his need for speed by acting as an instructor to the next generation of hot-shot Navy pilots. Whiplash star Miles Teller has been cast as Bradley Bradshaw, a would-be ace who happens to be the son of Goose Bradshaw, Mitchell's deceased original co-pilot. Val Kilmer is expected to return as original Top Gun character Iceman. The movie's impressive cast also includes Jennifer Connelly, together with Jon Hamm and Ed Harris.

I really hope Kelly McGillis comes back for this. She and Tom had good chemistry in the original film.

Tom Cruise whilst having aged well enough looking thanks to a combination of i guess good lifestyle, surgery etc. is still having father time catch up with him. His neck area, eye bags etc. His stomach in Ghost Protocol also looked weird compared to anything seen in his younger days. Like he may have had some surgery there to get it more taut but looks a little mangled.

I'd say imo, Keanu Reeves is probably the guy that has aged very well compared to almost all other people acting in terms of overall signs of aging.
