Unexpected...this wasn't on my radar though I knew it was coming. I quite liked the trailer. I still like Tom Cruise and always defend him as an actor.

No kidding. I never cared for Top Gun. This actually looks good. I think it's because I prefer the grizzled veteran Maverick over the cocky one from the original.

He's also crazy in the fact he's still doing his own stunts and literally almost killing himself each time. Not just about the couch antics and his beliefs...

So stunts equal "real acting?" Gimme a break. Stunts have nothing to do with acting ability.

stunts mean its not cgi it means what you seeing is real you are right in the fact that its not showing emotion delivering a line.

I grew up with Top Gun, for better and worse it covered an unforgettable part of my life as a movie goer and homevideo buff.

I expected this movie to be a CGI train wreck, instead I can't believe how good, solid and "real" this trailer actually looks. Also, they nailed the mood 100%. This could be the Creed 2 of the Top Gun "franchise".

Yet I think F18 are no match for F14, anyway you have that glimpse after the the titles that gave me the goosebumps... again. It seems they clearly recall which was the one and only, aerial star of Top Gun ;-)

looked like he was flying a F22 at 1 point as well
