I see on my FB that smoke has started rolling into my town from the various forrest fires around The North.
Yet here at work, which is only 280kms away, it is just above freezing temperature. I'm more east, than north.
What the heck?

That's not a pocket watch. You can see the pins where the band is supposed to connect. It's a wrist watch.

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, our new eastern bay bridge has been fraught with problems and is often criticized that the original bridge made in the 30's was done correctly and better!

Another thought on the Apple Watch, I suppose these first editions will be worth something in the future. Even the Apple-1 collects a big price (especially if it's working). A former colleague of mine has an Apple Plus, nicely covered in a glass case. People go nuts over it when they see it. And yeah, it still works too. So I guess these first edition watches will be worth something (as long as they are not broken or even better used). Best to keep them as a heirloom you don't touch. lol.

I was just turned down for a job. It would have been nice to have it, but I guess I'll just keep looking.

I'm wondering, at what level of damage should I consider buying new pants? This rip isn't too bad, is it? I got it caught on a fence.

Pretend you are playing Farmville while being in The Happening.

(I really truly am becoming my dad... which I consider a very good thing.
But I am so not looking forward to wearing long black socks and brown sandals.)

That's what's on my mind atm.
LOL gotta love female hormonal imbalances. About to get dressed for the day and eat my 14.00 meal a bit early so I can head out and get my mandatory TB test before I can formally accept my new job.

I think there's a rule with jeans, if you can see your balls then they're too far gone, but it depends on your region ... and balls. The other rule is if you can go to the bathroom without taking down your pants ... then they're too far gone.

Last pants I ripped where chinos when I jumped over a bollard, my little legs have never been long enough ... I tore the seat off them and cut my leg open!

Had to drop off my brand new bicycle to have tougher tubes put in the tires because of all the thorns and sticker bushes around here. Watching what I'm pretty sure is David Tennant's final episode of Doctor Who before I shower and go to bed.

Edged out by The Last Exorcism: Part II which manages to completely undermine the fact that the first one was supposed to be the 'last'.

Pulp Fiction

For future reference, depending on what browser you use, you should be able to right-click on the picture and choose "Search Google for this image" and it'll generally tell you what movie it's from or who's in the picture.

How many "final" destinations can there be?

When are we going to get Son of the Last of the Mohicans and The Next Last Starfighter?

I'm wondering why coffee has to have such a pungent smell? It's not exactly my cup of tea.
