both my federal and state got accepted (i do mine online) so i'm hoping it's not too long before they're deposited into my account.

I've always done my taxes myself as well, online. It's going to be interesting though this year as I now have a 1099 to report in addition to my usual W2. Since I'm a Uber driver, I now have a small business to report.

When we first got a house, I took to H&R the first time. Then I just copied everything else and never went back.

yeah, it's easy for me since i'm single with no dependents. takes me maybe 10 minutes to do both federal and state.

Thinking about whether or not I should abandon using my modified Firestick. Doesn't seem to work anyway - all I get is a menu of programs I don't want and a bunch of settings and other useless junk. Maybe someone's on to me

The fact that break is almost over and I have to work late. At least I remembered my charger today.

that reminds me about a new rules we have where i work....among quite fore other new rules.

one of the new rules is that we aren't allowed to charge our phones anymore while we're working. we're not allowed to have them in view of anyone. meaning they should always be out of sight in either a purse, bag, backpack, or pocket. also meaning we're not allowed to have them on our desks or on top of the computer tower plugged in and charging.

now while this doesn't really affect me as i rarely need to charge my phone while i'm at work seeing as how i really don't use it that much, it will affect a LOT of other people with whom i work.

and i, personally, think this is an asinine rule. so we're not allowed to use our phones while we're working....ok, i can go with that. that's been a long-standing rule there and one that everyone, including management, has broken at one time or another. but not allowing anyone to even charge their phone while they're sitting there at a desk is complete lunacy. what harm can it do for someone to charge their phone while they're sitting at a desk?


and this reminds me of some other rules they just passed that are completely......baffling.

Yes, in fact I would lie down on top of her and shield her from harm. Hopefully I would have no trouble convincing her it would be safer if we took our clothes off

I wish I could get a tax return this year That sucks about that rule sk33tr. I occasionally charged my phone at work and I even plugged in a JBL docking station to play my iPod.

Don't know if you'll see this BizCat, but hope you get your movies today. It's always fun to get movies in the mail but it's really fun to get imported movies in the mail

I worked at a call center for a time and if you were caught looking at your phone while at your desk 2 times you would get fired. Obviously that was for security reasons but geez.

I actually agree with the no charging phones on the clock rule but I work with lazy people who use their phones all the time for personal calls.

nobody here does that while sitting at their desk and working. but some people do use their phones a lot and do need to charge them a good bit. that's fine, people can use their phones as much they want. but to not allow anyone to even charge their phone while the phone is just sitting there not being used at all... that's just a tad crazy, to me.

but i can tell you this. if i get a call and i check my phone and it's my mom, i'm going to answer it because she only calls me in an emergency. so if that happens.....

When I was in the Marine Corp, I worked part-time as a telemarketer for a few months. I was actually quite good at it. I also worked at a relay center making calls for deaf people and that was a pretty cool job. We did a lot of Nigerian fraud too. And we did prank calls and I will tell you. I'll just be honest but I've never been absolutely sure if it's prank calls or crank calls. I think it might be both. I really do think that. I think I could have said prank or crank and both would have been right. Yeah, that's what I think.

I have to go to the bathroom. Will I go or hold it? I don't know. There is a bathroom not 20 steps away so I could go if I wanted to. It's only number one. I have not had a bowel movement in quite some time. I wonder if I should see a doctor about that. No, I think I'll be ok. Maybe I need to eat more. I haven't been eating much. Yesterday I had to pee so much, OMG!

That's great that there are two women in the SF of the Australian Open. Good to see Venus going deep in this grand slam. This year's winner could well be named Williams and while I would be happy with either sister winning, I would really like to see Venus take it.
