I would say worse. I find myself having a harder time remember little details when I'm sitting through multiple hours worth of episodes. This doesn't stop me from binge watching though.

I'm indifferent about it, it's both positive and negative.

Negative: There is no hype and anticipation for a new season or episode when it's right there in front of you ready to go.

Positive: You get immersed into the world you are watching without having to wait a week for a new episode or months/year for a new season.

Yeah that's how I feel. The week wait between episodes gave me a couple of days to process everything and get excited. That experience is mostly gone now thanks to Netflix.

First one? Before signing a lease, make sure that:

The lease is renewable annually and it's not a month-to-month deal
Heat is included
The water pressure is adequate
The wiring is up to standards so your breakers won't trip if you use an A/C
Your landlords aren't scumbags

Do you or anyone else think that beautiful women put so much time and effort into looking good for...um...who?
It's us that they do that for. Why do they look back after passing us to confirm that we looked?

These ignorant a$$e$ should stop whining and just go get a beautiful woman instead of knocking those of us who have. I love women and will always look at them. Even when I'm in my rocking chair and 107 years old.

Seems to me that these whiners hate on us who enjoy beautiful women (visually and physically) because they don't have the cojones to go get one.

I see some have deleted their posts. That's very telling.

You're sooo obviously a single neckbeard. That entire post was so cringeworthy, holy shit.

Both can be good, depending on personal preference.

I find it easier to remember things when they just happened within the past few hours.

Here’s my N/P reasons...
Negative: You may get hungry, need to use the bathroom, or just get achy from not moving for several hours.
Positive: You don’t have to wait days/weeks between episodes.

You don’t process things immediately? I can’t relate...

wishing we had a political forum that was only available to those who wanted to post in it. it could be a hidden forum that you'd have to actually join and have a mod allow you in to be able to even see it. it could be with the proviso that things wound understandably get heated and as long as there were no personal threats, nothing got reported.

I think it's the exact opposite***. A week wait between each episode makes it easier for me to forget details.

It really depends on the tv shows or movies in question.

Predictable, formulaic shows (old school sitcoms, cop shows, etc. etc.) tend to work well in binging.

On the other side, I would always cringe when someone told me that they just binged seven seasons of Game of Thrones in a week (usually much less). Then they wonder why they can't remember characters and earlier plot points while watching the new season.

In general, binging does a disservice to both the creator and the viewer, especially with content-rich works. You need time to digest what you just watched, reflect on what worked and what didn't, and give the experience a chance to breathe a bit with you.

I can already see someone responding "Ok, Boomer." in kind, and I'm sure they will be posting that comment while their fifth episode of the night is already in progress in front of them.

It's not. You can program it to your liking.

And the "But I'll be behind...!" argument doesn't work. Just avoid the obvious hot spots online and tell your coworkers to be mindful of disclosing spoilers if they bring up the show in question.

You should ask that person if they were doing anything else while watching, such as checking their email on their phone? Not paying attention is something common among bingers. The few times a year I bing, I silence my phone.

How come there are no more milk men? Back in the day you could get fresh milk daily, and you never had to leave your house. The best part is they came in eco friendly glass bottles, not the plastic ones they have now which hurt the environment.

While I'm pretty sure home delivery no longer exists, some places do still have farm fresh milk in glass bottles. A local dairy store near me does, its like a $10 deposit for the bottle but you can either exchange it or return it for your full deposit back.

This has been a very tame winter here. We got snow a few times but never more than a couple of inches. It hasn't been too cold either.
