Ordered a <$10 rear windshield wiper from Amazon Warehouse (damaged packaging) and it was clearly used, with the blade worn out. How cheap do people have to be to order a <$10 wiper and return their used one?

Well thankfully we settled for a two bedroom apartment when we moved out of our house last month. My goddaughter and her mother will be moving in as a condition for her mom to seek help for her PTSD(after multiple deployments) , she hasn't been able to hold down a job longer than 3weeks and the apt they have has been a nightmare for both of them.

It's a shame many vets can't get work after they end their service. The VA should be taking better care of our veterans not only as a thank you for the commitments they make to safeguard us but because it's the right thing to do. Having said that, people who enter the military are highly trained so there shouldn't be any roadblocks to finding good work when they re-enter civilian life. Obviously law enforcement is an option (many PDs pay well and offer great benefits) but being a cop these days doesn't mean much. You look at someone the wrong way next thing you know you're facing disciplinary action and possible dismissal. Still, it's steady work and if you keep your nose clean you should be OK.

so I guess i'll have to used adjustable ear loops thing so facemask can actually fit on my nose instead drop to chin meh

Why it bothered to leak on Thursday but it rain softly now and it didn't leak. It just seems weird it should leak when ever it rains. Hopefully the roof will get repaired and I don't have to worry about my electronics or or any else.

I look at my phone and see a question mark. I’m like...what? Then see who the question mark was from and am ...OMFG!!!

i did that at my previous job, lol.

i sent a joke message to a coworker that was sexual in nature. but i forgot to click on their chat window when i started typing. and i inadvertently sent it to one of the assistant managers (who's a female). her response was one of confusion, and then laughter. thankfully, she knew how i am. and when i told her it was meant for someone else, she was cool with it. it could've ended badly for me. but since i was always joking around like that, she was cool with it.

it feels weird being fall and finally getting colder. this year needs to be over, it's been so messed up. Hopefully it doesn't get too brutal but then everything seems to be getting worse.

This is probably a silly question: is there such a thing as a bad dentist? I need one and most people tell me they're all just about the same. My last guy didn't do a good job with a crown as it loosened and came off and now I have a toothache. I'm not going back to him.
