I stopped watching news on TV about a decade ago but since the pandemic I've gotten back into the groove. What happened to CNN? They used to have anchors and reported the news but now it's just a series of personalities on the air for an hour talking about politics. Holy Hannah.

A couple of weeks ago, Amarzon had an early Prime Day sale and I was able to purchase two Echo Dots for $40. I thought it was a sweet deal and I was very happy.

During the Prime Day sale, the cost went down to $19 each.

Last night, I received an email from Amarzon saying they noticed I paid $40 and since the price went down to $38, they are adding two dollars to my gift card balance. That was pretty unexpected and they didn’t have to do that. NOICE!

Have credit cards been known to decline purchases because someone was late ONE month?
I think that's happened to me. No reason to decline a $40 purchase with a balance of $266

not a whole lot, actually.

yesterday i started on the fence system for my miter saw (it's built, just not complete with all the accessories). I also cleaned up in the shop, a bit. and i took apart an old table/bench that was in the shop (replaced by the cabinets i got). and i have one more to go, today. maybe some yard work, too; i haven't decided, yet.

A purchase on my card was flagged, then another right after (from the same vendor) was denied. My card was frozen so I called them and they told me what happened. They're now sending me another.
I'm glad I have insurance on that card and when the replacement comes in, I'm going to be much more careful about how I use it online.

The exact same thing he told me two years ago when I last saw him.

It's been snowing on and off all day. The roads are slick and I've seen two accidents tonight.
The tyres for my truck were supposed to be in on Wednesday and I hope that happens.
