I've been trying to work up the nerve to visit a nail salon for a manicure for a long time - I finally did it on Friday and, boy, I'm glad I did. There was always a stigma about these places with me. I've never seen dudes in these places getting their nails "done" lol but I now realize it's just like any other personal service, like getting a haircut. I walked out of there with my fingernails looking brand new. They were in pretty rough shape for a good while. While I was there I also got a massage. That didn't really do much for me except make me feel like I just ran a marathon

I'm trying to talk myself into joining a gym for more intense strength training and cardio when it's too wet or hot to run/bike outside. I doubt I'll turn into a gym rat, but I definitely need to get back in shape and I assume if I'm paying for a membership that'll be enough motivation to kick my @$$.

The US Marshal Internal Affairs office called me yesterday and asked me about that incident in June where my former brother-in-law screamed at my sister, made his kids cry and trapped my sister in a bathroom for about 10-15 minutes. I have a feeling he's about to get in huge trouble at work but I hope he doesn't get fired. What he needs is to adjust his behavior so he's easier for other people to get along with.

On a ruder note, there's a coworker who stocks my sections at the hospital on Saturdays and she intentionally understocks it because she doesn't like me. So I'm doing the same thing to her when she's off on Mondays and I'm stocking her departments. Does the same thing to her it does to me - makes her look bad and creates more work for her the next day. Juvenile sure but it also tickles my funny bone so it evens out lol.

in the early notion and starting the wheel going in terms of looking for a new place to live - which is a good thing and very much needed - starting a new chapter in my life.

Thinking of strategies for defeating Sister Friede in Dark Souls 3. Can't wait to head home so I can try it. I got a couple of ideas that I want to experiment.

Love that show! I've yet to pick up the DVDs of it, but I think my parents have every season. I assume you living in Tennessee and being a fan of the show that you've been to Cooter's Garage in Nashville and/or Pigeon Forge? They've got some awesome memorabilia from the set at the Pigeon Forge location.

personally it's my toes that need some serious professional help; both big toes in particular, I'm sure if I were to pull them out, the pedicurist would gasp in horror.

When I went for my temperature check a few minutes ago, I was given another ID card that was coloured differently than my current one.
I asked about it and the Fella said that it shows that I’ve been double vaccinated.
I’m wondering if there’s a benefit to being vaccinated over the others who haven’t been and why they want to differentiate between us. Other than the obvious of course.

I was planning my last trip for small stuff this weekend but now with the diabetes still trying to control and stabilize it better, I'm not going but unsure as to when. I hope I can go soon. i have 2 computers (g4 and g5) 3 monitors and bunch of stuff including the cases for my movies that sadly I will depart with when I can.

I hope before my birthday in October I can do this but I'll have to wait and see.

I wasn't impressed with In N Out while I was out there. Jack in the Box was better imo, but generally speaking they're the same. I agree on Five Guys, good stuff. Unfortunately I think I have to drive upwards of an hour to get to my closest now.
