apparently my Apple TV can be heard on any input regardless of where I plug it into. It might because the receiver is old and I am using RCA cables and or it being on top of the receiver. Weird

I hear that game series is insanely hard. Good luck with the strategies you come up with. If you upload a youtube video of you kicking his ass, I'd watch it. He looks like he needs a good ass-kicking.
It is Dark Souls 3. I've been playing it since mid-April and I still have not finished the game.

Unfortunately, I don't make YouTube videos. You can view gameplay vids of this game, as I sometimes do. There are lots of savvy gamers that share tips.

There was a little smoke in the air when I was headed over the hills toward the ocean but I don't think I could even smell the smoke. It was a nice day at the beach although I only got out to take a couple quick pics. I did see a fire crew when I was out but they weren't fighting anything. They were kind of standing around shooting the breeze

just in the last past day or two, I've noticed I have these red dots on my right muscle, they just feel weird and somewhat scratchy - hmm, guess I should go in to see my doctor about this.

You know the current U.S. real estate market is beyond brutal when you get your lease renewal figures and are celebrating that it's only a $200/month-increase.

I suppose that's not so bad if your rent is $4,000 a month. That would be the average 5% increase.

I agree, though. It's rough out there especially if you're a buyer in some places. Where I am, houses going up for sale for $650,000 are selling at above asking and having offers accepted before their first open house. It's nuts. Just for fun, I called the listing agent to schedule an open house on a place I saw newly listed. First open house. The agent said "Sorry, we should have taken that down yesterday. They already accepted an offer." Turns out that house sold for $685. 35 more than asking and before their first open house.

WTF???

$685.00 more? That drop in the bucket would be a blessing here. The average home selling price here is 45% higher than before the pandemic. The average length of time a home is on the market here is 5 days. It's common for people to be outbid by tens of thousands of dollars. It's not uncommon to see final takes with a 100 grand+ over the asking price. Throw in investors and flippers who aren't that worried about pre-close inspections, let alone an open house, and you have quick trigger fingers in the marketplace.

Even if I had the money to buy a home right now, I wouldn't. The prices are so overvalued. It can't go on forever like this. Right?

why is it so hard to use degasser against foimoire or whatever their names are. I just need to kill him one time to max out degasser's abilities and then go up against scarecrow and I will be done with Folklore. Maybe some other time I will get 100% but I'm tired of the quests and maxing out the all the folk for both Ellen and Keats.

ugh

My apologies. Should have written that more clearly. The house was listed for $650,000. Before the first open house even happened, the house was already sold for $685,000. $35,000 more than the asking price.

Houses around my area have been selling like hot cakes since the pandemic. Everyone wants to get out of NYC and the exodus is happening big time.

My house is probably worth almost 50% more than when we purchased it 10 years ago. Of course, even if we sold it, we'd be paying 50% more than we did 10 years ago. LOL.

Wall Street is buying up family homes. The rent checks are too juicy to ignore

That's a great point. Also, housing itself...just securing a roof over your head, period...is not a given now. Some markets have a waiting period of months for an available apartment (and, meanwhile, the rents for them are still increasing in the interim).

I guess if you're a gambling man, you'd take your payday now, live in a temp place (hell, even a camper), and bank that the market cools down and goes back to "normal" sooner than later, securing you on the plus end of that sale.

It's brutal, man. I don't know what the solution is, either.

I feel I've been lied to.

I was promised a hot vax summer and the whoring 20's but now we have neither.

And movies are being delayed again too. Concerts, sports with audiences. Sigh.

I've been reading about this. Real estate is the 21st Century version of the old Gold Rush. The only people buying houses they days, who can afford them, are investors with dollar signs in their eyes. Everybody else (aka "normal" folks) are SOL. The worst part of it is people are losing their homes because a) prices are skyrocketing and property values are going up and b) they're falling victim to property owners only thinking of money. Only way to survive is to move to a ghetto
