7 on my right wrist from 2006 right after my sister passed away and a permanent rope burn on the side of my neck from an attempt hanging (my girlfriend at the time intervened) 10yrs later (2016) when my ex took my daughter from me. Been to family court a couple times, lost every time which I always turned to alcohol as a result, still here and kickin for some reason. Never give up hope, life will come around for you.

Man, that's hardcore. I am so sorry you have had such a rough time in life. I've been there myself, but never quite that extreme. For me, it was always pills. I could never do physical harm like that. That's the thing. I have this major fear of death that has gotten more crippling over the years to the point that it's saddled me with anxiety. And that brushes up against my suicidal/depressive nature. It really makes things hard at times. I feel just like the titular character in the song Revolving Man, without the hope and happiness.

Though, don't mistake that for me saying that my life is totally hopeless and woe is me. It isn't. I have good days like everyone else. But those days are not often enough for me to say I've licked this. That may be a long time coming. Or it may never happen. It's just something I have to take one day at a time. I will do what I can and just be mindful of what is it I have, if I can. Depression is one of the worst, if not the worst, diseases you can have. it sucks the life out of a perfectly healthy human being and makes even breathing horrible. How can something like this exist? It's just awful.

Man, I am sorry. That's terrible. I have always maintained that the act of committing suicide is not cowardly in any way, shape, form, or fashion. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that. Especially if you use an instrument to do so. And it also means you are suffering in the worst of ways. Man, hang in there. I am here if you need. We are all.

Yes. A free copy would be good. I think you can publish that type of stuff on Amazon. In an actual book form. Though I think the book form isn't really stellar. If I could do it in hardcover and it wasn't a hassle, I would've done it by now. I tried starting it, but you have to type everything out one page at a time. And I just don't have to patience to type out 400 individual pages of my work. It's just not for me these days. I've become so lazy. I want to change that though and may work on Pro Tools tonight to see if it works as good as or better than GarageBand. If so, I'll subscribe. It looks sort of complicated and I don't know much about this stuff. The production/board stuff anyway. And the odd thing is I got the artist version to try for free. So you would think it would be LESS complicated. Oh well. I need a manager and producer in my life. I just don't have that kind of cash for the kind of career I have.
