It was bumped to 6/2. I think it was sent on the wrong truck which also explains my weird tracking #.

Scanned into NJ last night and I almost always get it the next day as I’m close to the city but for some reason it ended up in upstate NY.

USPS sometimes delivers Amazon as well as UPS packages to me. Just yesterday I had an Amazon order with UPS tracking and the regular mailman delivered it.

Anything with TBA in the tracking is coming direct from Amazon. I actually don't recall the last time I got a package that wasn't delivered by Amazon. They completely cut USPS and UPS out of the picture for my area, it appears. They deliver in vans rather than the bigger trucks that other carriers use.

I personally prefer Amazon over them as they have detailed tracking that will tell you how many stops away your package is, and you can also leave messages for the driver too. They also usually take a pic of where the package was delivered too.

Well that makes sense because you’re in the city.

I’ll be shocked if they dropped USPS and now deliver in my area. I’ve never seen any Amazon trucks or vans in my neck of the woods.

I’ll let you know if the tracking changes. It is unusual that it went upstate when I’m 2 hours from NYC. With that being said, I would love if Amazon did deliver. USPS is the worst.

I had a package I shipped to a friend that has been sitting in their city since March and they have yet to receive it. I am furious. These things cannot be gotten again. Stupid post office.

I hoped you insured it if the value was over $100.

9-4 shift today was cancelled because client had a doctor's appointment. Just picked up a 9-7 El Paso shift for the 9th, we'll see if it actually happens. Will definitely make next Sunday pretty iffy for doing anything except working and running 12 miles on the dreadmill, nice pay for 1 shift though.

Mail men will always take the path of least resistance to deliver your package, even if it doesn't make sense.

To be honest, I don't remember. But it certainly wasn't over $100. I'm Al Bundy not Rockefeller.

Arrow just announced The Silence of the Lambs will be getting their big box Limited Edition treatment in the UK. The Kino release had a color timing issue that was never corrected. It has been confirmed that Fidelity in Motion is handling the transfer and it was fixed.

Jump on this sooner rather than later. She’s gonna sell out fast!

I preordered over at Orbit. Diabolik has it as well.

My regular mailman goes out of his way to be helpful. Whenever there is a package he rings the doorbell even though we have a drop box. Other mail carriers just put the product on the porch. Amazon spends time taking pictures to "prove" delivery but won't take 2 seconds to ring the doorbell. I even put that in the deliver instructions and they still typically don't bother.

My previous mailman was great. The new one…not so much. Will leave packages out in the rain.

Debating if I want to get some Indian food today.

*Make* the Indian food. It'll be time consuming but oh so satisfying once you eat it and then realize you don't have to rely on expensive takeaway food to satiate your appetite.

Thinking about the right biceps cover-up tattoo in 13 days and Grandma's Marathon in 3 weeks. I always seem to run a bit better in Minnesota than I do in New Mexico, probably due to air quality and the difference in elevation.

I actually have tried to make chicken tikka masala. It was ok but not great. So many spices. Buying direct from the source is much more satisfying.

Yeah I know, most of my cooking adventures over the past 8 weeks took me about 3-5 hours to make but there's just something about eating something delicious that you made yourself. Plus eventually I'll be a good enough cook that I can reasonably make most things and then I won't need to rely on restaurant cooks as much anymore. I worked in kitchens from 1998-2021 and I wish some of those cooks could see me now. They'd probably laugh at how the food looks but then say most of it actually tastes pretty good.

We should have Batman make and send us some. But we’d better both receive the same number of blueberries.
