Be thankful. Be VERY THANKFUL!!! I'm coming off one of the worst days since my dad passed away. I didn't even go into work yesterday. I slept almost 24 hours and I didn't eat for 30 hours straight. My mood may be in the worst shape it's been in close to a year. I just saw my therapist, but I fear I may need to go again. The thing is I just paid him $135.00 and I cannot afford another $135.00 right now. I was not expecting this. This whole shit came right out of the blue. If that weren't bad enough, during one of my short times I was awake yesterday I found out my TV has gone tits up. My NEW TV. I could curse so bad on here I would never be allowed back. Somehow, while I was asleep, my TV can no longer connect to the HMDI auto function on the sound. It's only TV speakers or optical. I cannot control my other devices (player, receiver) with my TV remote either. The sound from my receiver and speakers still works. So, I can still get sound from them when playing a cd or movie. But I want my GD HDMI auto option to work.

I reset the TV back to factory settings and that didn't do shit. On top of all that, I've been playing the same song for like an hour. The song is Joy by The Sundays. It wouldn't be a bad thing, as the song is one of my favorites. The problem is somewhere in the 15 years the song has suddenly turned SUPER sad and SUPER depressing. I don't know what happened. I've been listening to this song for 35 years and it's NOW become something soul crushing. But it's like a trainwreck at times, I cannot walk away.* I just want this to all go away. I am so tired of it. It's a damn good thing I don't drink. One of my friends is coming over this week. I just need to get through to that point and hopefully start to feel better. I know this is a broken record, but sometimes I've got to let this spill out. I hate bothering my family and friends. OH GOD! I'm going to cry again!!! I'm sorry. I just need to speak to the void tonight. Thanks for listening. All this to say Fors*, be thankful you never have to go through this.

A life that's sweet for some
is hell for others
a package of chewing gum
for one is choking hazards for the other
looking up and down
one is a superstar the other a clown

so you roll over and over
until you cannot roll over anymore
laying there on the floor
looking out at the sky
why oh why

all those castles like in pretty books
from Devonshire to England to New York
thought things would be better now
but who in the hell knew
what your leaving would do

so you roll over and over
until you cannot roll over anymore
laying there on the floor
looking out at the sky
why oh why

her name was Marguerite
that's all I know
I can't remember more
they played it at the show
At Least, I think

I wish that were true. At least for me. The state of mind is messed up physically. When I was being born the umbilical cord wrapped around me. I think it was trying to say something. I think it was trying to kill me. LOL. Got news for it.

I wish I could do that. I live by myself. So, if I don't do it, it won't get done. And my house, for one example, is in shambles. Being along has its advantages. This isn't one of them.

*I moved on to another. Sadly though this one is worse. it's an old live song from when Edie Brickell & New Bohemians did a benefit show under
New Bohemians in their hometown for a friend. The shows took place around Thanksgiving 1994. I went to one of the shows with my dad. I think I've been playing it more now because my dad passed and it connects me to him somehow. It's my way of grieving for him. When I sleep, i mostly dream about my mom who died 7 and 1/2 years ago. But not my dad. It's one of those types of nights. I will be going to work though. I can't with this house right now. I'd go now if I could. At least Edie can sing the hell out of a song and Kenny Withrow still shows why he's the greatest guitar player to ever live.

I know it takes time to lose weight, and I've only been on this diet for a week now, but I hope to start seeing some progress in the near future. Even if it's baby steps.

Good luck...they say you have to average around 500 less calories per day to lose one pound a week. Of course, any cardio or exercise you do at a moderate rate will help as well.

I haven't started any exercise yet; for right now just strictly eating and drinking better. I haven't had pop since Monday (1/27), which is HUGE for me.

In case one doesn't know what one refers to when one says pop, one is actually talking about what many call soda

What am I going to do today? 8:46am on my second day and I gots to get busy doing absolutely nothing!

I've had some brief panic attacks during my later life, due to claustrophobia, but the episodes are rare. Lately, though, I've been experiencing some anxiety, mostly on the weekends, after watching news clips on yt. These events aren't going to end well, that's for sure.

If our bodies store fat for energy, why do we feel hunger? Why doesn't the body use the stored fat (some of us have more than plenty )?

I guess it comes down to the amount of fat....our bodies can only metabolize so much. After that, you are stuck with it unless you do something else to burn it. A dietician, I am not.

Michael Jordan’s son was driving on the train tracks. I’d say he’s been playing a little too much GTA!

Arrested for DUI , cocaine possession and resisting arrest.

Damn good thing he was arrested before something awful could happen.

Speaking of luxury SUVs, I think I saw no less than four or five G Wagons yesterday and I believe I saw an Aston Martin SUV and I did see a Maybach go by. Most of the cars I saw were in Palo Alto. The BMW SUV was in Mountain View. I had never seen a BMW in that color before.

And the one that I would take above all others, except maybe the G Wagon.

I guess you could say Char green.

Yeah, the color was some kind of green. I've never seen a BMW that color before.

Holy crap, I just looked out the window and it's coming down again I guess I should have brought an umbrella with me.

True about the rain. I do look forward to when it gets green for a short time this year.

Still at Chili's and my server just came up and asked me my name. I think my first thought was customer service but I think it might have been a bit more than that.

My memory...I was going to search FB for something, I think it was for a group. In the search bar, I found recent searches so I think I checked one for the Spirit shop and then I checked my mom's page. I read a post she linked that was nice. But in that short time, I forgot what I was going to originally search for. Things like this happen a lot. I can just forget shit so ****ing easily.
