re: My cousin just called and started laughing about the ending of Over the Top @ the sounds Bull Hurley makes. My cousin's laugh is so contagious, it made me start laughing. I just watched the ending on youtube and almost started crying I was laughing so hard, not because I found it particularly funny, but just picturing my cousin laughing at it. Oh man, life is so rewarding at times for no reason at all.

i do that to my sister all the time.

i can start laughing without her knowing why and it'll maker her start laughing just as hard.

plus i can laugh like my granddad used to laugh. he had a very infectious laugh that just made everyone around him start laughing just by him laughing. and i can imitate it pretty good.

That's gotta be some genetic mutation that works for the betterment of humans. Even blind people from birth smile and laugh at contagious laughter. lol I'm smiling just thinking about it.

As I said yesterday the power went out for most of the day, then came back. Well, here's what happened next: 2 hard drinks into Trainspotting 2, and the power goes out again. It's 9:05pm and I have to call the folks to tell them I'm coming back over. I'm worried about slurring my words just a little bit, as I'm obviously not drunk but it's my MOM, lol she can always tell ANY change in my behavior. She answered the phone and seemed extra cheery, which made me giggle, because I can sorta tell when she's had a pill (chronic back pain/age). So my mind is set at ease, and I knew she wouldn't try to secretly lecture me on driving, because she picked up on my speech and didn't want to be mean about it.

Got to their house and my dad is in the kitchen with a med size Yeti Tumbler full of Jack and Coke. Smiled at each other, and I took a hard left straight to the fridge. My parents always have way more food than they can eat in a month, I have no idea why. Rest of the night was great, drank up his whiskey and finished Trainspotting 2. The bed in the first guest bedroom, this is the one I always go to because the bed is more comfortable than my own. Great night indeed. Anyway, I'm back at the house and jacked up on coffee this morning, reason for the ramble. I guess the point I'm trying to make is this: My parents are cooler than I am, and they know way more about life than I probably ever will. This both terrifies and encourages me. Good morning everyone.

Hope you didn't lose too much in your Frig.
The last couple of times that happened here we lost everything in the Frig/Freezer.
Losing 200 to 300 dollars in food really hits the pocketbook

I'm in the same boat, chronic back ( and more ) Pain, I have to take a combination of ( those controlled ) Pain Pills/Muscle Relaxers.
And if it's been awhile since I took a dose, ( sometimes ) I can feel it wash through my body and right down my back when I do take em.
( but that sensation only lasts a couple minutes )

But that can vary depending on when you last eat, body size, personal tolerance, etc...

We do the same thing here.
We keep the Frig/Freezer stocked for when the Kids and Grand-kids come by!

So even if they'll never say it, they do have you in mind when they stock the Frig.
